“Pride Jams” is the first music compilation by Tyler Oakley. To celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride Month, Tyler’s featuring twelve artists that represent a group of artists, all different in almost every way: gender, sexuality, race, romantic attraction, age, and most noticeably, musical stylings – Pride Jams is just as diverse as the LGBTQ+ community itself. With portions of proceeds benefiting The Trevor Project, Tyler hopes you enjoy the perspectives of often disenfranchised voices in the music world, while also supporting an organization that helps young people live long enough to find voices of their own.
Pride Jams
Tyler says, “Pride is about being unapologetically yourself, and in their music, these LGBTQ+ artists bare it all. Sometimes cool and upbeat, sometimes somber and soul-crushing, Pride Jams offers a full range of perspectives hoping to resonate with listeners from all backgrounds. I'm so excited to partner with artists who've inspired me for years, and to help the world discover new and emerging voices from communities often overlooked on Top 40 radio. These artists know the value of feeling loved, supported, and validated, and hope to give back to the next generation, with portions of Pride Jams proceeds benefiting The Trevor Project, the leading national organization for crisis and suicide prevention, specializing in LGBTQ+ youth. Turn up the volume and dance your heart out, knowing these Pride Jams are helping queer and questioning youth live long, fulfilling lives, full of dancing to the beat of their own drum."
